Smart Locker Control Board PCB Assembly
Smart locker control board PCB assembly with mixed assembly, connector inspection, component verification, and production-ready delivery.
Overview
This project involved PCB assembly for a smart locker control board used to manage electronic functions within an automated storage system. The board provided control and connection points for the different electrical parts used in the finished equipment.
Reliable connector placement and consistent assembly quality were important because the PCBA would later be connected to other modules during final system integration.
Manufacturing Challenge
The control board included different component types and multiple connection points. Connector orientation, component polarity, mounting position, solder quality, and mechanical stability all needed to remain consistent across the production batch.
Because the board would be installed inside larger equipment, incorrect connector position or component height could also create problems during wiring or enclosure assembly.
Manufacturing Approach
We reviewed the Gerber files, BOM, placement information, component packages, and connector layout before production. Smaller components were assembled through SMT, followed by larger connectors and through-hole components where applicable.
AOI covered standard SMT areas, while visual inspection focused on connector seating, solder joints, component direction, board cleanliness, and overall assembly condition. Functional testing could also be arranged according to the customer’s control requirements.
Result

The completed smart locker control board assemblies were delivered ready for installation and system-level integration in the customer’s smart locker equipment.
